Frost Crystal Casket — makeup organizer, no supports

A block of glacier ice with a quartz cluster growing out of the back, and the cluster is the working part: all seven crystals are bored straight through, so a brush pushed into a shard stands bristles-up while its handle hangs in the box below — which is why a 120 mm and a 220 mm brush end up standing at the same height. Bores are cut to measured stock: Ø27 for mascara, two Ø23 that neck down to Ø14 so a lipstick rests on the shoulder, and four brush bores at Ø16 and Ø11. There is not one blind hole in the model and the well underneath is a single cavity with a 4 mm cove where the floor meets the wall, so nothing has a square corner to pack powder into. 3 parts, 132 × 114 × 100 mm, 298 g, no supports, no hardware, no glue.
